Now anybody that KNOWS me knows that my music library is enormous (and organized to the T) its something i value. And I've realized that.. whoever writes these lyrics, goes through alot..

ESPECIALLY.. in love songs

for example:

I never really been in love but does it really run that deep? I'm not gonna lie. It does sound really devotional to light your significant others' cigarette wit the ember (your heart) that you drowned in a gallon of gas and lit on fire but as I'm typing this now i'm thinking to myself, it may be just a metaphor saying... my heart burns with so much love and desire that i would increase its flame to enlighten your heart to mines.. NOW THAT I KNOW WHAT IT MEANS..

I mean ladies.. If a dude said that, you'd probably like, "Aww.. but I don't smoke." but if he told you the reason behind it.. you'd probably melt in his arms.. be real.
